Azelastine fluticasone Nasal Sprays are used for treating allergy indications (eg, itching, airless, sneezing or runny nose) in some patients.The spray is a corticosteroid and antihistamine nasal spray combination. The adrenal cortical steroid works by making a reduction in nasal inflammation reasoned by substances in the air.

Before using Azelastine Hydrochloride Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray:

Some medical states may effect with Azelastine Hydrochloride Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray. Tell your doctor or chemist if you have these medical conditions, particularly if any of the following apply to you:

  • If you are pregnant, intent to become pregnant, or if you are breast-feeding.
  • If you are taking any prescription or over-the-counter medicine, dietary supplement or herbal reparation.
  • If you have allergic reactions to medicines.
  • If you have gone through nasal surgery, nasal sores or nasal injury.
  • If you have any type of infection (eg, fungal, parasitic, bacterial, viral) including chickenpox, herpes simplex, measles in or around the eye, or inactive or active tuberculosis (TB), or if you have or had experienced a positive TB skin test.
  • If you are having any vaccination.
  • If you have not had measles or chickenpox and you have not been vaccinated against them.
  • If you have a medical state that needs you to take corticosteroids (eg, prednisone)
  • If you have a past of glaucoma, enhanced pressure in the eye, cataracts, or vision troubles.

Some medicines may act with fluticasone/azelastine spray. Tell your health care benefactor if you are taking any other medications, particularly any of the following:

  • Azole antifungals (eg ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole, ), delavirdine, or protease inhibitors (eg ritonavir, boceprevir) because they may increase the peril of azelastine/fluticasone spray's side effects.
